The set up is a little tricky because you are dealing with stakes to hold the tent down. This is more of a rain fly than a tent. There is NO BOTTOM for this tent. They sell a separate bottom for this model or you can buy the bug-screen insert that fits perfectly inside this tent. You can use trekking-poles to hold it up the tent, however this sucks because once you go inside the tent in limits the amount of space you have and you are always fearful of knocking down one or both of the trekking-poles and down comes they tent with you in it. I like to use the corner loops and tie the tent to a tree using string or rope. This way you have more room and you can roll over in the night without worry of bringing down the house.
