It has kept me warm to about 15 degrees. Very light. The drawback is with the components on the jacket. First, the zipper is difficult get started (definitely a problem when wearing gloves). You have to jiggle it to get it locked in to zip. Second, the drawstring in the waist simply pulled right out of the hem rendering it useless.
